Northern Lights

Inspired by seeing the beautiful nothern lights while in college in WI, I created this as a part of a tryptic, for some reason, I always loved tryptic pieces while studying art history. It allows the story to continue for longer.

Created this piece intended for our last house. I wanted to play with a large voloptuous central focal point. I had fun with this on my large loom named Big Bertha.

A friend contacted me after I made her a tapestry for her home. Her friend often admired it, thus asking me to make one for her friend. I had her get a sense of the colors that she used in her home. Alas, this little baby was born.
